What London jobs tend to look like
More than anywhere else in the UK, London assembly happens in flats — Victorian conversions in Islington and Clapham with narrow communal stairs, mansion blocks with temperamental lifts, and new-build towers in Stratford, Nine Elms and Canary Wharf where the service lift needs booking through the concierge. Mention the floor, lift and any building rules in your enquiry: carrying time is real time, and a booked service lift can halve it.
The rental market drives a lot of the work too. Landlords and agents furnishing lets between tenancies — often several wardrobes, beds and chests in one visit — are routine jobs here, and several of our partners offer day rates for full-property furnishes.
